Assignment background
As smartphones become more powerful, camera module structures are becoming more multi-layered and denser. Particularly in the assembly of the periphery of the lens, high-precision, stable application of silicone resin is required in small, minute spaces. However, conventional dispensers posed the following challenges:
- Unstable quality due to uneven line width and thickness
When applying a coating to a tiny object, the coating line can become too thick or too thin, making it impossible to ensure the necessary sealing performance and adhesive strength, resulting in variations in airtightness and waterproofing. - Contamination of the inner surface of the lens due to misalignment of the coating position
In the process of applying the coating to the very edge of the camera lens, even a slight misalignment could lead to the coating spilling over onto the lens surface, posing a risk of adversely affecting optical performance. - Variation in adhesion and residual liquid due to viscosity
Due to the adhesiveness of silicone resin, the liquid remained at the tip of the nozzle, affecting the next application, causing uneven application and poor appearance.
